During the Spring Term 4G will be looking at a variety of topics for each subject. In History we are focusing on Roman Britain. In Geography we are looking at Europe and the Arctic. In Science we are looking at what Cells are and how we can see them and all about Light. In RE - we are looking at stories from the New Testament.
The class have been really captivated by our class novel The Secret of Platform 13 by Eva Ibbotson. I have been impressed by the fact that many pupils have chosen to read other books by the Eva Ibbotson.
Welcome to Year 4!
I would like to thank all parents/carers for the hard work your child put into completing their summer project about Ancient Egypt.
4G have already shown lots of enthusiasm for learning. I have been impressed with how hard they have been working in all areas of the curriculum. This is such a positive start to the year!
I hope that you have all received the email about our school trip to Ipswich Museum? If not please see the letter attached or visit the school office for a copy.
Mr Harrold our violin teacher introduced himself to the class this week and the children were so excited to try out the violins. Your child will have the opportunity to take a violin home, after a few weeks of practise and once you have filled in a consent form.
