Reading
Medium term plans for reading are developed half-termly. Formative assessments are used to identify which reading domains, objectives and response types should be the foci for the next half term. Texts are chosen using our Literature Spine, teachers' understanding of the children's reading for pleasure and their writing outcomes for the half term.
