The Age of Empire

Our first major launch into the history of Britain.  This is an extended project that covers a wide and overlapping period of history, from the Romans through to the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings.  As we look at each period of time and the start of each empire we will be focusing on the impact and changes in Britain.  Was each invasion necessary?  What power struggles were there?  How did power change?  Discussions about resistance and change? Laws – did  each empire/regime have different law
