At Elm Tree, we have worked with Voice 21 to develop our teaching and learning of oracy skills.

Through the Oracy Framework, we are developing our children's abilities to learn to talk and to learn through talk.  In Key Stage 1, our children learn through role play, drama and discussions. In Key Stage 2, the choice of language for purpose; interaction with peers through agreed discussion guidelines and reasoning are key aspects of our ongoing development of the curriculum.
